My little girl is over a month old. Not quite sure how that happened. She is randomly smiling and when she does everyone in the vicinity stops to watch. It is funny and breathtaking. She is a bit of a fuss pot though. Almost every night around 5:30 she becomes demanding and wants to be held and fed. She almost makes due with a binky but is still determined to be held by someone. Loud bawling cries until she gets her way. This doesn't stop til about 11:00 and then she is up every two hours to eat. Uhhhgg I nnnneeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddd sleep.
The news with Quintin,
Quintin does not talk properly. Before was that he did not talk at all and a month and a half ago he started the never ending babbling. He doesn't fully look at you when you talk to him. He also rarely repeats words that are said to him (like "all done?" or "ball.") We took him to a doctor and he sent us to a geneticist and also to a developmental center. The doctor gave me an ugly scare saying "I think he has William's Syndrome" The fool that I am looked it up on the internet and was bawling my eyes out after a minute of reading the health issues involved. (self diagnosing and too much info you don't understand is BAD for you.) After seeing the geneticist last Monday, she said that she didn't suspect that syndrome at all. A great weight was lifted from my heart. We still do not have answers but at least we are starting to narrow it down. Quintin had a blood test today to rule out a few more syndromes. We will not get results for at least three weeks.
Quintin starts developmental therapy on Monday. A lady is coming over for about an hour (?) and plays with him, teaching him to use his hands better and to play games. He will begin speech therapy hopefully within the next two weeks. We will also be contacting the Melman (?) center soon to see the possibilities of autism. The good news of the autism is if he has it, it is incredibly mild. Uhhg poor little guy. Hopefully we will get him on the right track soon.

Jason has a job working with Austic children - he has three clients right now - he loves it. It's very interesting the differences in all of them. I also have one little boy in my play that has a form of autism. I hope that you find some answers. And your little girl is so cute and growing so fast.
God gives us what we can handle, you have always been great with Quintin and you will continue to be.
