A date with Grandma

Yeah Christmas is over. Joe, my in-laws, and I took Grandma C to the Rockin R Ranch last night. It was wonderful. Same old bbq meat, same old show because they brought back their fiddle player. Through out the show I kept glancing at grandma and she was smiling through the whole thing. I was so happy to take her before she wouldn't be able to do it.

Christmas was same old same old. Nothing too spectacular happened. The best part of it was playing Mormon Mad Gab with Leaner, Abenanna and the rest of the family. Christmas isn't Christmas without laughing so hard you cry.
Here are some pics of recent stuff.

A Blog

Collin Quintin and Santa ( Santa is actually the boys' grandpa Simper) How lucky to have Santa be your grandpa

A day on the Harley!

Quintin's first solid food. HE LOVES FOOD!!

Two naughty boys plotting a new scheme for mommy.

I need to blog more. I think my mind gets clearer when I write down the days adventures so I don't linger on them...

I have been baby sitting Madison a lot lately. She is so much fun and yet is so naughty around Collin. Collin will steal a toy from her and gets in trouble. I tried spying on them the other day and Madison holds the toy in front of Collin's face and taunts him. I think she knows he will get a time out an enjoy it. Girls can be so mean.

I have also been painting like a mad person for the last 2 weeks. I have completed Malcolm's Life size Simpson Family Christmas for his front yard. Pictures will be up in a couple days. I also painted a life size Santa Claus kneeling before the manger for my own yard. That one has always been one of my favorite pictures for Christmas.

I sent out my Christmas cards and when I got to the last 10 I realized I didn't have enough pictures for the cards....sorry to those of you who did not get pics of the boys.

Poor Joe has been handcuffed to his desk the last week. He has been pulling 10-12 hour days and has been in the office all weekend. Hopefully the company will be friendly once this project is done and maybe give him a little more time off or something.

We had our ward Christmas party on Saturday. It was amazing. It was outside on someone's farm. Everyone was dressed up in Bethlehem attire and the church had set up a market place for all of the food and "wares". As you entered you were given a bag of "gold" to purchase you cheeses, soup in a breadbowl, little toys for the kids, and your frankincense and mur ( cute little bag with potpourri). There was a petting zoo for the kids. When it got dark there were a few fire pits and tiki lanterns lit. It almost looked real in the dark.
