A Little More Carter

My brother came over to cook my family dinner last night. Poor guy... I am not a chef myself and anytime he would ask for a pepper mill or olive oil or even sad to say garlic, it just doesn't always exist in our home. Budget meals of mac n cheese and totinos pizzas, YUM YUM, don't really require such royalties.
Amazing how little kids love Uncle Carter. My son would rather spend any moment (except meals) with him than with mommy or daddy. I can't get jeolous of him though, I have to admit I am quite fond of him myself. My closest brother in years and always so......well,......hmmmm, he's Carter. The only adjective for him is "carter". That should be a new word in the dictionary.
carter verb or adjective. - laid back, only in search of happiness especially if it is helping or pleasing others
Yeah, I think maybe tomorrow I will try to be a little more carter.

Why does he have to be so darn cute??

The fam went to the mall today to get baby's birthday present. We ran into an outspoken black woman who fell in love with my baby. She made the usual goo gaa gee sounds only people do when they see a little one, and then said "You are the most handsome boy in the world, when you are twenty years older call me and I will date you." (let me tell you, her accent and wording, which is not word for word here, was freakin' hilarious)
Wow, my son is already the lady's man. I swear I am nothing without this kid, I now live off of his popularity........i don't even exist to the parents anymore. Scenario: I enter the door, my mom and dad grab the kid, no hellos to me, and they leave the room. Sigh.

Hairball? I have a cat. A large amount of cat. Recently weighed at 21 pounds......now just imagine the "wonderful" things a gato grande can cough up. Well sometimes unorganized thoughts and speratic typings can resemble such a lovely regugitated item. Anyway, to anyone who reads this, fair warning and no pity because of the previous fair warning 7 words ago. More writings to come all in due time............................
