We have three grape vines in the backyard that grow like weeds. It is truly amazing to watch a three foot long shriveled stick in the winter explode to 20 foot long lush green vines. 2 of the vines produced this year, one green and one red. Green vine gave us a quart of grapes and the red vine (strangely the smallest of all three) gave us 8 quarts of grapes. I am wondering how many grapes we would get if I took better care of them or if I would remember to harvest before the birds attacked the grapes. I left half of the grapes outside for this harvest because the birds....wow we could have had 18 quart bags if I could keep the birds away. Any ideas?
