Pretty Lights

Went to the temple open house last Friday. We got to take the whole family. Collin was being his silly self until we reached the celestial room. He was calm and could not stop staring at the chandelier and all of the pretty lights. Very pretty place, just wished the wind was not blowing. Melody of course giggled and flirted and everyone wanted to take her. Quintin was ok. They "helpers" put plastic booties over everyone's shoes and that really freaked him out. He wanted to take all of the booties off and would not walk so daddy had to carry him.

I missed my poor baby girl's four month old thingy. Oops. Poor girlie has an ear infection in both ears and it is making her a cranky bear. This is really rare for her since she laughs at everything.

One and half more weeks of school and then I get a 3 week break. YAY!

3!!!

My little man is 3 today. We had a party at my mom's house last Saturday. I don't think you could have asked for a happier kid. Water toys everywhere, hot dogs, and some way to green cake. Quintin started preschool last Tuesday. Hopefully interaction with kids his age(and not his dominating brother) will help him learn to talk.

I applied for graduation today. Still have a semester of classes and then student teaching but it is finally becoming more official.

Quintin started his first day of preschool this week. He seems to like it. He does not seem to be sad when I leave him there.

Tomorrow is Quintin's big bday bash. We are going to have a mini water park at my mom's house. Hopefully the wind will not blow like it did last year......

Not to be a pessimist, but when will life get better? Can't deal with much more or with what I already have. Just can't anymore.

So my conclusion: 1. All of Collin's classmates used to call me "Collin's Mom." My name has been upgraded to "Ms. Collin." So I think I need to give them a name they will actually remember. Ms. Simper doesn't seem to work.
2. I don't think I will go on a field trip again unless the teacher is desperate.
3. Also it takes a very special person to teach kindergarten. I am NOT one of them.
