Family Day out

Waiting for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.
 Mama's very bright camera flash.
A starry night above as we ate lunch knowing it was 100 degrees outside.
An attempt with all three kids in one pic.   They usually do not go well.
 Melody riding the exotic zebra.
 Spinning round and round
Melody loved every moment of this.
 Quintin and his yellow hippocampus.
Collin was acting very mature and didn't want to ride a horse.  He just wanted to relax on the bench.
A video game in which you milk a cow?
 Go Collin go!

Nothing like a Harley Ride with your little sister driving

Last Day of School

Quintin giving hugs with Ms. Hope
Collin with Mrs. Young
Every year I make sure to get a picture of the kids with their teachers of that year.  I also have Collin pick out a gift he would like his teacher to have. (I would do this with Quintin but he has like 6 teachers and it all gets very confusing)  This year Collin picked big sunflowers that had been dyed red and a monkey.  Before giving his teacher a bouquet, he gave a flower to the principal, vice principle, and his favorite substitute Donna.  Why is such a rambunctious noisy little boy so shy when it comes to goodbyes and gifts?

Kindergarten graduation arch for West School

This one is made of two 4X8 sheets of chip wood board.  It is a material I will most likely refuse to ever work with again.  The person who asked me to make this for them brought me this wood even though I specified what I needed.  Uhhgg to chip wood and its terrible structure and horrible ability to break off in pieces in the middle of painting.  This will also be the last art donation I will be making for the district.  It is official, I will be asking for pay.  These just take wayyyy to long to make.

FAIL

I have been applying for a job for the last year and some change.  In the last couple of weeks I finally got some calls.  So far I have had three interviews and one more to go next Wednesday.  I have been denied a job from two of my interviews in the last week. Talk about a blow to me self esteem.  By this point I am a little more frustrated with the Coolidge School District beyond all belief.  I have slaved for them for about four years now and volunteered countless hours.  I am tired of these people and I feel I will never get my chance.  If I do not get a real teaching job for next year, my license will die and I will have to retake the test of crappy doom again.  What is the point?  Why did I get this crappy degree?  How can I really help students if I can never establish relationships with them?  What am I doing wrong in these interviews?.......I just want to hide from the world and give up.  Somehow I need to get perky again for this next interview but I really just....don't feel like I care any more.

My three fairies.

No I don't torture my children by dressing them up, they do it on their own.  The high heels, the pretty bows, and matching outfits....all on their own :)
