one month already

I figured out why I don't write on here as much. Without pictures, stories and ideas are a little less fun and my camera's cord that hooks it up to the computer isn't working, so it won't let me download.

My little boy is a month old already. What happened? I still can't figure out what his personality is. It is a bit of everything. He is snuggly for a while and then pushes away so he can be set down. He next to never cries and when he does it is pretty pathetic (not that I am complaining) He is the noisiest sleeper. Every now and then I have to put him in the front room at night so that I can get some sleep. Speaking of sleep, this little guy can not figure out between night and day.

We went to the doctor for his one month check up. The doctor said the main reason you are here is to see if he has gained any....WHOA!! The whoa happened after she turned the page on his chart. One month ago he weighed around 7 1/2 pounds, now he is at 10 pounds 12 oz. So yes my little guy grew like crazy and is in the 75 percentile. Hooray for breast milk. Well sometimes hooray, I haven't had more than 4 hours of sleep in a row for a month. Which can sometimes make a cranky mama.

We went to Coolidge last weekend. We painted Collin's room a very intense lightning blue to match all of his lightning McQueen stuff. Collin LOVES disney's cars. That and his room was previously a yucky laffy taffy purple. We watered the plants that took a harsh month neglect and hopefully most of them will survive now that the water is turned on.
