Another Dry Afternoon

The forcast said there would be rain today. No clouds=No rain. Another weather dissapointment.

I suddenly got brave and cut Collin's hair. It's not great but it is not bad either. Without his little curls he is no longer my little baby anymore. He is now my toddler, my little man. He looks up at me, smiling with his chipped tooth (compliments of his grandparents) and tells me a whole story which I can't type to you because I still don't know what he is saying. He is so expressive with his words. Complete sentences, perfectly asked questions and greetings. I am waiting for this language dam to break so we can talk about all the pretty things we see outside and talk about the wonders of Truck wheels (still he favorite).

He is not a TV baby and 99% of the time it is wonderful. Sometimes I wish that he would have just one favorite show or movie that I could turn on and go take a shower or do the dishes or something. Or better yet we could actually go to a movie as a family instead of Collin lasting 5 minutes and wants to RUN!! But then again we don't have TV fights or fits so that is good.

Yes time is going fast. I keep asking myself if it is time for another critter to join our family. And no I am not talking about a dog or cat. I think a greater power has been bringing up the subject and hinting that Collin's baby sister wants to join us. Am I ready to have two beasts rampaging this apartment calling me for their every need?

And now my son is dancing. It is a very special dance. He has learned to move is hips and his neck just right. He really gets :jiggy with it." Any music will do this to him, even the elevator music at the grocery store. Quite entertaining.

Anyway not a lot to blog about. I could narrate my son's everymove but not today. Another time. And who knows, it may be the most entertaining blog I write.

I know where you can find that rain.. I'll go outside and see if I can't send you some.

Wish I could have met that little man when I was down there. Can't wait to see him this summer.. He sounds fabulous!
