Baby went to the ped today. It was time for shots. The nurse had me hold down his top half as she stuck two needles in his leg. And then it began.............he didn't just scream and cry. He annunciated many different syllables and glared through his tears. I know Collin was not saying nice things about the nurse or me. When he learns real words is he going to be a cusser? Will I have to threaten him with soap and other strange punishments for feeling that much anger toward another person? Well, maybe not. Under the circumstances, I think I will let him get away with it this once. :)

Yup- he deserves to be allowed to curse at the evil nurse- how dare they stab his innocent little leg- and momma- HOW dare you hold him down! Poor little boy!
Can you imagine the pain of immunizations? I am not against them- its just no wonder babies scream!
OUCHIE!!!
But he is a big one year old- a big walking one year old boy child...
and such a CUTEY!
Maybe he'll be like his Uncle Carter and call everyone a coconut as a bad word!
"You Coconut!"
I hate those things, and the worst part of it all is they are at the age to remember, Kasey crys when we drive by the doctors office, not joking, it makes me feel aweful but what do you do? Hold them down whispering I'm so sorry and give them lots of kisses after, hoping they won't hold it agianst you later.
