It begins

I went to my classroom today to check out my space and to take some measurements.  Very empty but lots of space (i say that now cause there is not 30+ kids in there yet)  I am starting to get really nervous.  I asked the principal, who is new, questions about text books and curriculum.  I got next to no answers.  I don't know if the kids have text books, I don't know if we do our own chapter books for language arts, I don't know what I am supposed to be teaching, and I don't know when I will get my answers to these questions.  Starting to freak out!

My training starts next week but I still feel like I won't have enough time to get ready for these kids.  I need to just breath and write down tons of checklists and questions to organize my thoughts, so that when someone has answers I will ask the right questions.
