I have 6 bushes outside (no I do not remember what they are called) that are in full yellow bloom with cootie patootie flowers. My Happy Wanderer vine is dripping with purple flowers and my poppies are begging to wake up.
Now I know that bees are important for the world and environment. The side of my house is covered with bees. Even though it keeps solicitors away even more because they fear for their lives (yes, I had a windshield guy tell me this the other day), I need to find a way to keep the bees at bay.
No, I will not remove the flowers. I have tried spraying the plant with vinegar and it does not work, I sprayed the plant with the vinegar with the bees there and it did not deter them at all. Any suggestions? I really do not want to find out if my kids are allergic to bees.

Check with the nursery you used to work at and find out if there are any plants you can plant around them that bees don't like - maybe that will deter them. it is so hard to even think of blooming flowers up here - really makes me want to move back to AZ. (or maybe I just need more sun)
you definitely need more sun!!
