Summer

Here's a burn I made for my host teacher as a thank you present. This one turned out really well, the pictures do not give it justice. The boy's pants and shirt had some neat texture.

Well now what? Got the bachelor's degree, passed the tests to allow me to teach, and applied for jobs. Every other hour I check to see how my job applications are doing.....tic tic tic .... I have also been accepted into the Master's program and can begin as soon as June ( i will probably wait until fall though, time for a mini break) I am also studying for a crazy test for this coming Saturday. It is the science AEPA so that I can have my science endorsement and teach junior high science. I dont really want to teach JH but any job is better than none.

I have also come to realize I am not a fan of summer. My kids are bored, it is too hot to do anything and there is no $ to do anything. I signed up collin for summer camp which starts next Monday. I also signed quintin up for swim lessons and I am a little nervous with him around water but that is the whole point of swim lessons right?

Once this test is done I can start crafting again.
Goals for the summer
-make Quintin's quilt
-paint antique saws for Malcolm
-burn some wood
-oil painting for the kitchen
-start learning the guitar
-get a contract for teaching
-do some kind of exercise regime to at least lose a little weight. (regime is a dumb looking word)
-some other stuff I cant think of right now.
