A date with Grandma

Yeah Christmas is over. Joe, my in-laws, and I took Grandma C to the Rockin R Ranch last night. It was wonderful. Same old bbq meat, same old show because they brought back their fiddle player. Through out the show I kept glancing at grandma and she was smiling through the whole thing. I was so happy to take her before she wouldn't be able to do it.

Christmas was same old same old. Nothing too spectacular happened. The best part of it was playing Mormon Mad Gab with Leaner, Abenanna and the rest of the family. Christmas isn't Christmas without laughing so hard you cry.
Here are some pics of recent stuff.

Life size wooden Simpson family I made for Malcolm.

LIfe size wooden Santa kneeling before the manger I made for our yard.

Quintin has two teeth!!

I love your yard work - they are wonderful!!! I'm glad you had a chance to take Grandma out. I know how much she loves things like that and talks about them all the time. Happy New Year!!

Don't forget inappropriate comments made by everyone in the room. Its not Christmas without those!

Oh my goodness - those are wonderful. If you lived close enough to me, i'd definitely pay you for some. Oh, what am I thinking - with the wind here, they would end up in the next county. Glad you are all able to get together for Christmas - I definitely miss big family gatherings. Guess I'm going to have to adopt some family.
